The best thing I've found for organizing cables is the very thin velcro used to hold up tomato plants. Possibly called "Veclro Plant Ties".
It is much cheaper than other precut velcro ties specifically made for wires. You can buy it at any hardware or plant store.
It can be cut to diverse lengths, and of course is easily removable when needed.


I've also tried Split wire loom:

Really only useful for a finalized set up. Because you have to cut the wire loom to length if you have to re-arange things wire loom isn't the best solution.
And "Binder Clips":

Binder Clips are nice because they are very easy to move the downside are:
1 - there are metal clips sticking out everywhere, you could remove them to make things look nicer but then its hard to move cables around
2 - It's hard to get the right size, as soon as you go from two cables to three you have to find a bigger clip etc...
